Owners of DK Grand safaris
The owners/hosts of DK Grand Safaris are native Kenyans who grew up and went to schools in Kenya. Daniel has more than ten years experience in tourism while Molly has more than eight years experience in office administration. Guests will have an opportunity to either dine with them or go on safari together.

Typical African hospitality
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met with the true spirit of African hospitality. The next day at briefing time you will be given a welcome kit. It contains our beautiful company safari cap, post cards and a field pack. The field pack is especially fascinating for the lovers of African safaris.

Complimentary Services
For a memorable and comfortable safari experience, we facilitate our valued guests with  binoculars, camera stabilizing bean bags, reference books, both bird and animal checklists. We offer weighing scales in Nairobi to facilitate weighing of luggage. Upon request, we also provide our guests with local adapters for their electrical appliances and hair dryers. Guests can borrow books from our DK Grand Safaris mini-library and exchange their already read books or donate their books to our Book Exchange Program; a service only offered by DK Grand Safaris.

Direct communication with the owners
Unlike other tour operators, when you  travel with DK Grand Safaris you get the honour of direct communication with the owners of the company.  Complete safari documentation will also be mailed to you prior to your safari departure. With DK Grand Safaris terrific safari memories does not end with your safari, you will be frequently updated on upcoming safari adventures and any special offers.

When traveling with DK Grand Safaris, you don’t need to worry about the next day details, our experienced Safari Directors and Driver Guides will take care of all that as well as offer educational lectures on flora and fauna, and the local communities inhabiting  various tourist destinations.

Our tours and safaris are customized as per guests dream hence flexibility, true safari experience, worry free and special request/needs accounted for. We guarantee departure for two guests and maximum of twelve guests to allow for personalized attention 24/7.

Children Activities
At DK Grand Safaris we appreciate that parents normally have busy schedules back home, and for this reason we ensure parents have time to dine and engage in activities with their children. In addition to game viewing lots of optional activities are offered like animal and bird’s identifications, nature walks, visiting animal orphanages, local pop music sing along, play soccer, tree planting, teaching basic Swahili, Africa folk tales as well as visiting kikemu vocational school.
