      It will depend on your interests, who you want to travel with and schedule.

    • What kinds of Safaris do you offer?
      DK Grand Safari offers the following Safaris:
  • What will I experience on Safari?
    You will experience wildlife, culture, natural habitats and the true magic of Africa.
  • How many guests would be in a tour?
    DK Grand Safaris takes a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 12 guests (except for customized Safari), which allows us to take care of all the details for you to relax and enjoy the experience.
  • Can I occupy a room by myself and what is a single room supplement?
    Yes you can and the single room supplement is the additional cost of having your own room.
  • Can people with disability or special dietary needs go on Safari?
    Yes they can, just advise us in advance so that we can discuss the options.
  • What kind of accommodation do you offer?
    We have city hotels, safari lodges and classic tented camps.  For more information see our brochure.
  • Are all meals included?
    Yes, meals, soft drinks and bottled water are included from the beginning of the Safari.
  • What are the configurations of the vehicles?
    The vehicles accomodate a maximum of 6 guests which guarantees a window seat for every guest and a pop up roof for easy viewing of the animals.
  • What type of travel documents do I need?
    You require a passport that will be valid for 6 months from the date of travel and a Kenyan Visa.
    Other information will be sent to you once you book a safari with us.
  • Are there any medical precautions I should take?
    We strongly recommend that you consult your physician, but malaria medication is advised.
  • Do I require travel insurance?
    We strongly recommend that you take travel insurance to cover tour cancelation, medical and lost luggage.
  • What is the maximum weight my luggage should be?
    For international flights contact your airline, but for internal flights you are only allowed one bag per person weighing 33 pounds.

  • What language is spoken in Kenya?
    English is the official language and Kiswahili is the national language.  For more information see our brochure.
