Then here is the solution…… A Safari in Africa Kenya. A Safari which has been designed for you, a combination of both the Kenya premier game reserves and 3Rs (relax, rest and romance) at the tropical warm waters of the Indian Ocean. The tour starts and ends at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi, Kenya.
Day 1: Nairobi, Kenya
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and clearing with customs and immigration, you will be met by DK Grand Safaris representative who will transfer you to your city hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2, 3 & 4: Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya
After breakfast the next day, your day begins with safari briefing on all the adventures ahead of you. Today’s tours include city tour and visit to giraffe centre where you will have the opportunity to feed the endangered Rothschild giraffes and Daphine Sheldrick and Karen Blixen Museum. After lunch we will drive to Wilson Airport for afternoon flight to Masai Mara Game Reserve, you will fly over the Great Rift Valley. This is the real Africa you imagined of. It’s the home to astonishing number of animals (depending on the season) it’s well know especially for the unique migration of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, topis, elands between Serengeti National Park and Masai Mara Game Reserve. The Reserve offers wonderful scenery of the rugged escarpments, the winding of Mara river, umbrella shaped trees, the beautiful sunset and home to the Maasai people. You also have an optional balloon safari, bush dinners, walking safari, bush walk, bird walk or fishing excursion to Lake Victoria the largest fresh water lake in Africa and source of river Nile.
The next day you are woken up by your room steward, with a steaming cup of Kenyan coffee, tea or cup of hot chocolate before you depart for a optional romantic hot air balloon (depending on the weather), this is a once in a life time experience. There are breath taking views of the winding Mara River filled with hippos and crocodiles and the wild animals dotting the Mara planes. Once you are up, you wouldn’t want to come down again, but once you are down champagne breakfast awaits for you in the Mara plains. Short game drives en route back to the camp. This afternoon is for your leisure either at the camp or an afternoon game drive. A candle lit dinner for two is served on your tent’s deck.
The third day you have the choice of sleeping in or taking a morning game drive. In the afternoon, you will visit Maasai cultural village and then the choice of either a bush walk or game drive. The day ends with a sundowner just for you either by the Mara plains, Mara river banks, the escarpment or around the camp or lodge.
Day 5, 6 & 7: White Sandy Beaches (The Coast), Kenya.
After three nights of adventure and exploring the unspoiled splendor of the Masai Mara, after breakfast, you fly to Mombasa via Nairobi. The perfect destination to relax under the tropical sun and the coconut palm trees. You will have fun, enjoy the sun and sand, and a variety of water adventures to give you thrills of your dream honeymoon in a romantic place. The Indian Ocean beaches have exclusive hide away places out of this world and glorious views of the African sunset. You will have lots of optional activities like, visiting the national museum, trying the Swahili cuisine, sand bathing and sunbathing on the beautiful white sandy beaches, visiting the marine parks, participating in various water sports in the turquoise waters as well as tour of the second largest city in Kenya with rich historic background.
Day 8: Depart, Kenya
After three nights of 3Rs (relax, rest and romance) plus joy and fun at the coast, you will be served with your final breakfast and last morning stroll on the beach, you will check out and be transferred to the airport for your flight to Nairobi and connect your international flight back home. Farewell dinner may be arranged in Nairobi depending on your departure time. You will depart Africa but there is always something about the memories of your safari and 3Rs (relax, rest and romance) that will make you forget about your sorrows and feel like you have taken a bottle of champagne, bubbling over with heartfelt gratitude for being married to the right person of your dream.
