The provision of services to the clients by DK Grand Safaris & Tours Limited will be subject to,
inter alia, the following terms and conditions.
Tour pricing;
All prices shall be in U.S dollars based on two persons sharing a twin/double bed. Single room
are available at a higher price than those occupied by two guests sharing the cost. There is an
additional single supplement cost. All such rooms have private bath or shower. Children rates are
also available upon request.
Signing for the tour
To be signed for the Tour, a 30% deposit will be required at the time of booking and the balance
thereof has to be paid 60 days before departure. Booking made within 60 day prior to departures,
will be subject to full payment at the time of reservation.
Cancellations policy
Cancellations prior to travel day are subject to certain percentage per person cancellation penalty
fee after the booking is confirmed,
More than 60 days $ 200 per person
41 – 60 days prior to travel day 25%
21 – 40 days prior to travel day 50%
Less than 21 days prior to travel day 100%
Rates
The Rates Chargeable include expenses for the services quoted as per each itinerary and quoted
based on prevailing costs at the time of publication or Customizing Tour. DK Grand Safaris
reserves the right to increase tour price to cover any increased costs, tariffs and taxes received
after the prices are published. Guests should be flexible in the event of change of the itinerary due
to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond the control of DK Grand Safaris such as
but not limited to overbooking of hotels, camps and lodges.
All expenses of personal nature are not included
including but not limited to :
personal insurance, cancellation covers, International flight, visa
fees, passport, alcohol, communication charges, Laundry, guides gratuities, excess baggage,
international departure taxes, meals other than stated etc.
Unused service
There shall be no refunds for unused portions of the programme/itinerary in the event of
unforeseen circumstances and/or circumstances beyond the control of DK Grand Safaris
resulting in cancellation or termination of the tour.
Trip Insurance
DK Grand Safaris strongly recommends that you purchase insurance covering tour cancellation
and interruption, lost or damaged luggage, medical etc. Baggage is at owners risk throughout the
safari unless insured.
DK Grand Safaris is a registered safari operator in Kenya and it acts as agent to hotels, safari
lodges, tented camps, airlines, sightseeing and other pertinent services and does not own any of
those. DK Grand Safaris cannot be held responsible for any additional cost incurred by guest,
apart from what is quoted in the itinerary, due to missed, canceled or delayed flight, omissions
beyond its control. All such expenses will have to be borne by the guest.
DK Grand Safaris shall
not be liable for any direct, indirect, without limitation loss, injury, accident, damage, attack by
animals, sickness, weather, acts of God, terrorism, force majeure, war, quarantine, crime, death
in connection with accommodation, transport or any other service beyond its control including
but not limited to negligence or breach of contract of any third party. DK Grand Safaris and its
agents will act to their best to assist the guests incase of any danger or help is needed. Any issue
on safari should be raised to the safari director/ guide immediately or submitted 10 days on your
return home. DK Grand Safaris and its agents will act to their best to resolve the issue.
DK Grand
Safaris contract with the guests shall always be governed by the laws of the country in which the
tour is operating. DK Grand Safaris reserve the rights to subcontract any, all or part of the
services.
DK Grand Safari reserves the rights to decline or expel any person or member of any tour
whose conduct is incompatible with the interests and well being of the other tour participants.
