DAY ONE: EN ROUTE

Depart Home – En route to Kenya arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

DAY TWO: NAIROBI

Welcome to Kenya, you will be met upon arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our safari representative. Thereafter you will be transferred to your city hotel irrespective of the airline and time of arrival. Over night at The Boma Hotel or Similar

DAY THREE & FOUR: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast and safari de-brief by our concierge and/or owners of DK Grand Safaris at the city hotel, you will depart by road to Amboseli National Park which is famous for its large herd of free-ranging elephants and Mount Kilimanjaro which stands at 5,896 meters, the highest free standing mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa. You will arrive at the camp/lodge in time for lunch. For the next two days, you are entitled to a morning and afternoon game viewing in the park which has diversity, along with a long dry season, ensures excellent viewing of the large concentrations of African wildlife including; big families of elephants, lions, impalas, giraffes, gazelle’s etc living in their natural habitat. You can combine you game viewing with a You can combine your game viewing with an optional complimentary visit to Maasai Cultural village that reveals their interesting culture and patriarchal society. You will learn more about their life-style, how they survive and why they believe God gave them all the cattle in the world. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge or Similar (B.L.D)

DAY FIVE: NGORONGORO CONSERVATIONAL AREA

Early morning breakfast will be served at the lodge followed by check out, you will be transferred to the Kenya/Tanzania boundary (Namanga town), where you will be assisted to clear customs and immigration thereafter processed by road to Arusha Town (Tanzania) for lunch. After lunch, you will continue overland driving through Masai land and some shopping centers to Ngorongoro Conservation Area arriving at the lodge in the evening. The rest of the evening after check in will be at leisure as you watch the spectacular sunset. Dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge or Similar (B.L.D)

DAY SIX: NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA

Early morning breakfast will be served at the lodge main restaurant, thereafter you will descent down to the bottom of the crater which is a unique refuge for both animals and sometimes man offering different topography ranging from the basins, swamps, springs, the rivers, plains, forest and the salt lakes. Ngorongoro crater is the sixth largest caldera in the world which is about 20kms across, 600 meters deep. The crater supports a vast number of animals such as elephants, café buffalos, hyenas, lions, jackals, zebras, wildebeest and bird’s species because of the fresh water it holds. For game viewing, you are entitled to only one entry of up to six hours, later your will ascent back to the lodge for an evening at leisure. DAY SEVEN & EIGHT: SERNGETI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast, you will drive towards Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch. The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai word ‘siringet’ referring to an ‘endless plain’. En-route, you can visit Olduvai Gorge situated on an ancient lake covered by layers of volcanic ash, many fossil discoveries, including a skull of human ancestor. Upon arrival at the park, you will proceed on a game viewing skirting the vast plains in search of the plain’s abundant wildlife including the big five (Lions, Elephants, Rhino, Café Buffalo). You will arrive at the lodge for late check in followed by dinner. For the next two days, you will be exploring the world’s best-known wildlife sanctuary and a UNESCO World Heritage Site i.e. Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Sopa Lodge or Similar (B.L.D)

DAY NINE: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Early morning will be served at the main restaurant, thereafter you will be transferred by road to the Kenya/Tanzania boundary (Isibania town) with picnic lunch. You will be assisted to clear with customs and Immigration, and then proceed to the iconic and famous Masai Mara Game Reserve which is one of the great wonders of the world in terms of animal migrations, As per Abc news “Good Morning America’s show”. It’s also considered as a “must see” by almost all visitor going on safari. It is on the “to do” list for many because the park is graced by a wide variety of unique and exquisite wildlife and birds. Game viewing en-route to the camp/lodge, late check in followed by dinner and overstay at Karen Blixen Tented Camp or Similar (B.L.D)

(There is an optional flight from Serengeti to Masai Mara at an extra fee which we highly recommend as the driving time is usually approximately eight hours)

 DAY TEN & ELEVEN: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Morning and afternoon game viewing for the next two days in the magnificent and private Mara North Conservancy which is part of the Masai Mara Game Reserve have been scheduled for you, the reserve and the conservancy are regarded as the most spectacular wildlife viewing areas in Kenya with over 95 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds. You can decide in one of the two days to book an Optional balloon ride over the plans of the Masai Mara which takes you over the diverse habitats of the Masai Mara Reserve; fly over the great Mara River, swamps, forests, wildlife & the African Savannah. The quiet, relaxing ride allows you to view an amazing assortment of wildlife from a unique bird’s-eye view. Surprise bush champagne breakfast is served upon landing. Afternoon game viewing has been scheduled as well on this day, or you can decide to book an Optional walking tour, viewing the animals on foot and getting closer to nature as you discover more rather than the obvious big five.

DAY TWELVE:  DEPART

You will be served with your last leisurely breakfast at the camp, check out and transferred to Mara Airstrip to fly morning schedule flight to Nairobi. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport – Nairobi, you will be met by our concierge team who has reserved farewell meals for you at city restaurant depending on your outbound flight time. Later you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international departure flight back home. (B.L.D)
