DAY ONE: EN ROUTE

Depart Home – En route to Kenya arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

DAY TWO: NAIROBI

Welcome to Kenya, you will be met upon arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our safari representative. Thereafter you will be transferred to your city hotel irrespective of the airline and time of arrival. Over night at The Boma Hotel or Similar

DAY THREE & FOUR: TSAVO WEST NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast and safari de-brief by our concierge and/or owners of DK Grand Safaris at the city hotel, you will depart by road to Tsavo West National Park which is home to the largest population of red-skinned elephants, many endangered African wildlife including the black rhinoceros, Cosen’s gerbil, Hunter’s hartebeest, several species of shrew rat, Grevy’s zebra and wild dogs including over 500 different bird species have been recorded in the park. You will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. For the next two days, you are entitled to a morning and afternoon game viewing in the park which contains a diversity of habitats and a mountainous scenic landscape which includes, Mzima Springs, where hippos and fish can be seen in crystal clear water that has filtered underground from Chyulu Hills gushing below lava. All meals and overnight at Kilaguni Serena Lodge or Similar (B.L.D)

DAY FIVE & SIX: AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast and check out, you will depart by road to Amboseli National Park which is famous for its large herd of free-ranging elephants and Mount Kilimanjaro which stands at 5,896 meters, the highest free standing mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa. You will arrive at the camp/lodge in time for lunch. For the next two days, you are entitled to a morning and afternoon game viewing in the park which has diversity, along with a long dry season, ensures excellent viewing of the large concentrations of African wildlife including; big families of elephants, lions, impalas, giraffes, gazelle’s etc living in their natural habitat. You can combine you game viewing with an optional complimentary visit to Masai Cultural village that reveals their interesting culture and patriarchal society. You will learn more about their life-style, how they survive and why they believe God gave them all the cattle in the world. Dinner and overnight at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge or Similar (B.L.D)

DAY SEVEN: MOUNT KENYA SAFARI CLUB

You will check out after breakfast and transferred to Amboseli Airstrip for the morning schedule flight to Nairobi Wilson Airport, upon arrival at Nairobi, you will proceed by road to Nanyuki at the famous Mount Kenya Safari Club arriving at the club in time for lunch. The Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club Resort’s is strategically located along the equator line with a magnificent view of majestic Mount Kenya, the second-highest mountain in Africa. The club was retreat for movie star and club founder Mr. William Holden. The club’s illustrious former members have included Mr. Winston Churchill and Mr. Bing Crosby. It has a unique blend and combination of comfort, relaxation and adventure. You have several options recreation activities available within the club: horseback riding, golf, croquet, a bowling green, table tennis, swimming, nature walks, mountain bike rides and an animal orphanage. DAY EIGHT & NINE: SAMBURU GAME RESERVE

This morning after leisurely breakfast spiced by an excellent view of snow capped Mount Kenya, you will travel by road to Kenya’s northern frontier, wild and rugged Samburu Game Reserve is fiercely beautiful with its arid savannahs watered by the lovely Uaso Nyiro River. Arrive at the camp which is strategically located overlooking the Uaso River in time for lunch. For the next two days, you are entitled to a morning and an afternoon game viewing in the reserve which is famous for its rare species of fauna known as the ‘Samburu five’ which includes the long necked Gerenuk, the Reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, the Beisa oryx and the Somali ostrich among other wildlife and over 350 different birds species at the vast, open landscapes. You can combine you game viewing with an optional complimentary visit to Samburu Cultural village who are neighbors to the reserve and are famous for their remote culture, pastoral and nomadic way of life and you will have an opportunity to purchase some traditional Samburu souvenirs, art and collectibles. DAY TEN: OL PEJETA CONSERVANCY

Your next destination will be the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, you will arrive at the camp in time for lunch, an afternoon game viewing in the prestigious reserve has been scheduled for you, Ol Pejeta is the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, and home to the only three of the world’s last remaining northern white rhino after the death of “Nola” in San Diego Zoo in November 2015. Here too, the Jane Goodall Institute operates a remarkable Chimpanzee Sanctuary where we meet the primates’ face-to-face. It is the only place in Kenya where you can see chimpanzees, in a Sanctuary established to rehabilitate animals rescued from the black market. You can supersize your safari experiences with any of the Optional activities which includes; night game drive, dog tracking, bush walks, bird walks, lion tracking etc. Please enquire from the camp reception which of those activities you can book for an extra fee. DAY ELEVEN: LAKE NAIVASHA

After breakfast and check out, you will depart by road to Lake Naivasha via Thomas Falls, which a scenic water fall 74 m (243 ft) is named after Joseph Thomson father the first European to reach the falls in 1883.  You will arrive at the lodge for a late lunch. You will have the whole afternoon at leisure relaxing by the lodge sun heated pool enjoying the beauty of the lake shores where some wild animals roam around as well as admiring the colonial architecture around or you might decide to book any of the Optional activities offered in and around the lodge which includes; Boat ride to Crescent Island, Biking at Hells Gate National Park, Hiking at Mount Longonot up to the peak from 2150m asl to 2780m asl. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Sawela Lodge or Similar (B.L.D)

DAY TWELVE: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
After breakfast, you will check out and processed by road along the basement of the Great Rift Valley to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve which is one of the great wonders of the world in terms of animal migrations, As per Abc news “Good Morning America’s show”. It’s also considered as a “must see” by almost all visitor going on safari. It is on the “to do” list for many because the park is graced by a wide variety of unique and exquisite wildlife and birds. Game viewing en-route to the camp/lodge followed by lunch. You will have some time to relax by the sun heated pool before you depart for an afternoon game viewing within the Mara North Conservancy. Dinner and overstay at Karen Blixen Tented Camp or Similar (B.L.D)

DAY THIRTEEN & FOURTEEN: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE

Morning and afternoon game viewing for the next two days in the magnificent and private Mara North Conservancy which is part of the Masai Mara Game Reserve have been scheduled for you, the reserve and the conservancy is regarded as the most spectacular wildlife viewing areas in Kenya with over 95 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds. You can decide in one of the two days to book an Optional balloon ride over the plans of the Masai Mara which takes you over the diverse habitats of the Masai Mara Reserve; fly over the great Mara River, swamps, forests, wildlife & the African Savannah. The quiet, relaxing ride allows you to view an amazing assortment of wildlife from a unique bird’s-eye view. Surprise bush champagne breakfast is served upon landing. Afternoon game viewing has been scheduled as well on this day, or you can decide to book an Optional walking tour, viewing the animals on foot and getting closer to nature as you discover more rather than the obvious big five. DAY FIFTEEN: DEPART – KENYA

Breakfast will be served at the camp/lodge followed by check out; you will depart by road back to Nairobi game viewing en-route. Farewell meals have been organized by our concierge team in Nairobi restaurant.  Later you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your international outbound flight back home (B.L.D)
