Welcome to Kenya, you will be met upon arrival at Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our safari representative. Thereafter you will be transferred to your city hotel irrespective of the airline and time of arrival.

The Boma Inn Hotel or Similar (BB)


After breakfast and safari de-brief by our concierge and/or owners of DK Grand Safaris at the city hotel, you will depart by road to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve which is one of the great wonders of the world in terms of animal migrations. It’s also considered as a “must see” by almost all visitor going on safari. It is on the “to do” list for many because the reserve is graced by a wide variety of unique and exquisite wildlife and birds. You will arrive at the camp in time for lunch which is located in the Mara North Conservancy, which enjoys the privacy and remoteness of only a few camps within it. You are entitled to a morning and an afternoon game viewing for the next two days in the magnificent and private Mara North Conservancy which is part of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Mara north conservancy is the home to leopard gorge, which has been the thrilling stage for numerous BBC Big Cat Diaries and National Geographic documentaries and the management ensures guests get truly exclusive and private safari experience with a very low vehicle density.

Karen Blixen Tented Camp or Similar (B.L.D)


On this day, you will check out from the Mara North Conservancy and transferred to another lodge/camp in/or around the main Masai Mara Game Reserve. The reserve is regarded as the most spectacular wildlife viewing area in Kenya with over 95 species of mammals and over 400 species of birds.  According to the season, hundreds of thousands up to millions of migratory wildebeest, gazelle and zebras, etc move back and forth between the Mara Game Reserve, the plains, the woodlands and the conservancy areas around as well as the Serengeti National Park. For the next three days, you are entitled to two game viewings in a day exploring the whole Masai Mara including drives along the Mara River. You also have an Optional balloon ride over the plans of the Masai Mara which takes you over the diverse habitats of the Masai Mara Reserve; fly over the great Mara River, swamps, forests, wildlife & the African Savannah. The quiet, relaxing ride allows you to view an amazing assortment of wildlife from a unique bird’s-eye view. Surprise bush champagne breakfast is served on landing.

Mara Sopa Lodge or Similar (B.L.D)


Breakfast will be served at the camp/lodge followed by check out; you will depart by road back to Nairobi with game viewing en-route. Farewell lunch will be served at a city restaurant organized by our concierge team. Later you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your outbound international flight back home (B.L.D)

(There is an optional flight from Masai Mara to Nairobi at an extra fee which we highly recommend as the driving time is usually approximately five hours)
