Jambo and welcome on safari!

It’s my pleasure on behalf of DK Grand Safaris team to welcome you to East Africa, the land where safari started. I attended Kenya Utalii College (A Swiss-sponsored Hospitality College), where I graduated with a diploma in Tour Guiding and Administration. Years later, I attended the United States International University (USIU) and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management and Moi University for my Executive Masters degree in Tourism, Hospitality and Events Management.

I started my career working for Micato Safaris for nine years working initially as an office manager and then gradually I was promoted to the senior position of Safari Director. My guests have provided very positive testimony about their experience with DK Grand Safaris, which can be reviewed on the DK Grand Safaris website or on TripAdvisor. DK Grand Safari’s excellent reviews and write-ups have been featured in many newspapers (Los Angeles Times), travel magazines, wildlife documentations, travel blogs and travel sites (TripAdvisor, Fodor’s); all of which have rated DK Grand Safaris as a five star plus operation.

I am renowned for my expertise, philanthropy and enthusiasm both in Kenya and beyond our country’s boundaries. I sit on the Advisory Board for many philanthropic organizations, including: Ecolife Conservation (USA), Cherkin Preston Foundation (USA), Brilliant Beauty College (Kenya), and in many schools (as a Board of Trustee).
