Who will pick me up from the airport upon arrival in Africa?
All our services include all airport transfers to and from the main airport irrespective of the arrival and departure time. Our airport representative will pick you up from airport and transfer you back on the last day.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Safari payment can be done by wire transfer, personal checks and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard & American Express), though the later has a long procedure.
What should I pack for the safari?
Once you book your safari, we will send you detailed packaging list for your review.
Do I require Visa to travel?
Canadian and American citizens are required to purchase visas to enter Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and Zambia. Visas can be purchased through the relevant embassy or high commission prior to travel or on arrival at port of entry of the country you are visiting. Refer to Travel Information for each country.
What is the best age for children to go on safari?
Kindly contact us for guidance and advice though different lodges and camp have different age restrictions based on the activities offered. We do offer nanny services on request at a fee.
Will my children be exposed to local culture and tradition?
What if I need to change or cancel my booking?
In case you have to change or cancel your travel, kindly contact us immediately via an email. After your reservation has been confirmed, changes or cancellation do incur a fee. See our Terms & Conditions for more information.
Do I require travel protection plan/insurance?
We highly recommend you purchase travel protection to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected.
Can I travel solo?
Our packages are quoted based on two guests sharing a room or a tent. Solo travelers are also welcomed though they will be charged slightly extra (Single Room Supplement) to cover for the extra cost.
What types of accommodations should I expect?
All our tour packages includes accommodation in hotels, lodges and camps with a double/twin bed, flashing toilet, shower, towels, power, mosquito nets where necessary, some have swimming pools while others will provide hairdryers. The lodges and camps are mostly strategically located to the main attraction.
Are there laundry services at the lodges & camps?
All the camps and lodges where you will stay for more than one night offer laundry services through at a small fee not unless advised otherwise in your tour package.
Can I combine our safari with other extensions?
Yes, we have offered several extensions which can be combined with your safari. Click on suggested extensions.
How many people do you take on one safari?
We specialize on private customize safari packages, we don’t mix tour group and we take a minimum of two guests, that’s a group and we are ready to go. Most safaris operators will cram you into a car with complete strangers something we don’t.
Can I take my cell phone with me on safari & can I access Wi-Fi?
Yes, you can bring along your phone though you have to inform your service provider you are traveling to Africa where there is extensive coverage hence you will be advice on the best roaming service. You will be able to access Wi-Fi services in some lodges and camps though we cannot guarantee and the speed of down loading might be very slow.
Can guests with special request go on Safari?
Tell us what special requests you are considering making and we’ll have views on how reasonable they are. Some of special requests include:
We do request guests with food allergies and/or special diet requirement to update us at the time of booking your dream safari adventure which includes for example Allergy free food, gluten free toast for breakfast, vegetarians etc. We also recommend that you discuss with hotels, lodges and camps chefs, servers and managers upon arrival on your special meals request as most of the accommodation facilities we use are small hence they are geared towards personalized services.
Rooms and Tents Requests:
Some of special request for rooms or tents includes: Late checkout due to late departure flight which we can negotiate with the hotel but we cannot guarantee unless you are willing to paying extra, Connecting room or tent especially for families, Room or tent next to the main reception, Complimentary toiletries in the room or tent for example (shampoo, conditioner, and a sewing kit) of which most of the rooms and tents have, Double or twin beds etc.
