This morning, you will awaken to the breathtaking sunrise casting golden hues over the blue waters of Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest freshwater lake. Following breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled flight to Kihihi Airstrip. Please be aware that the departure time for this flight may change based on weather conditions, and you will be kept updated accordingly.

Upon your arrival at Kihihi Airstrip, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide, who will present you with a picnic lunch. If your flight is early, a delightful late lunch awaits you at the lodge. Day 3

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest – Trekking Day

After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, you’ll either be transferred or take a scenic walk to the ranger’s station for an essential pre-gorilla trekking briefing. Depending on the assigned gorilla family, your trek may begin directly at the ranger’s headquarters or at a different starting point accessible by your safari vehicle.

As you embark on this exhilarating adventure, staying hydrated is key, so be sure to drink plenty of water. Wear comfortable boots suitable for the steep and often muddy slopes, and don’t forget a light rain jacket, as the weather in Bwindi National Park can be unpredictable. Walking sticks are available at the park headquarters or the lodge for those who might need extra support.
