Four Days off to Zanzibar Beach
Day 1
Connect Flight from Safari to the Beach
Connect to an afternoon scheduled flight from Nairobi, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to Zanzibar International Airport. Zanzibar Island, located 15 miles off the coast of Tanzania is an historic trade center with Swahili, Indian, African, Persian, European, and Islamic influences. Zanzibar is a predominantly Islamic, fairly undeveloped island and enjoys semi-autonomy from mainland Tanzania. It was the biggest slave market in East Africa and a base for voyaging traders. Zanzibar bursts with culture and history, seemingly at odds with its idyllic geography of white-sand beaches with palms swaying lazily in the sea breeze. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by our representative and transferred to your beach resort with a scenic view of the Indian Ocean, giving you the opportunity to get the feel of this enchanting island of Zanzibar. Spend the rest of the day at leisure enjoying the amenities available at the resort.

Day 2
Local Excursion
After a leisurely breakfast, Stone town offers several optional activities which could include: Stone Town which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, is the capital of Zanzibar and also the heart and soul of the island. It is a fascinating town with old Arabic-style buildings, fascinating cathedrals, and ancient churches. The Anglican Cathedral of Christ Church was built where the biggest slave market operated. Its altar is placed exactly where the slaves were bound and offered for sale. On the floor, among the benches, there are black cobblestones as a remembrance of the dungeons used for slaves in the basement. Outside the Cathedral, there is a stone monument showing four people enchained by their necks as a way of reproducing the way in which slaves were offered to buyers. Other attractions include; Prison Island, the spice plantation, Jozani Rain Forest, Kizimkazi excursion, Safari Blue Tours, scuba diving and snorkeling, deep-sea fishing, water sports, sea turtles at Mnarani aquarium, a Muyuni boat and snorkeling trip, reef walking, Swahili cooking, sunset catamaran cruise, Ngalawa sailing, a mangrove tour, a trip to Matemwe village or kayaking, etc.

Day 3
Beach Life, Fun & Leisure
Nothing soothes the soul like a full day by the ocean. There’s nothing like a relaxing day at the beach to soak up all your worries. Just closing your eyes and imagining the soft sand caressing your toes as gentle waves lap the shore and the sun shines warmly down is enough to bring about a feeling of tranquility. This is the day, to relax in the beautiful powder white sands with sparkling turquoise water, and silvery sand fringed with palm trees. This archipelago and historic destination are renowned for its clear warm waters, idyllic white sand beaches for walking barefooted, balmy weather, palm trees swinging in the breeze, blue warm tropical waters, and spectacular sunsets. The beaches are ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and diving and the tide does not significantly fluctuate much. This Island is nothing short of paradise.
Here the beach rules will apply, soak up the sun while lying in the soft sand, ride the rolling ocean waves, feel the breeze coming from the ocean, collect seashells while barefoot, and let the waves hit your feet. Nothing soothes the soul quite like a walk on the beach. Evenings at the beach are incomplete without a glass of wine or a cocktail. Or, if that doesn’t relax you, booking a body massage will. This is your time to recover your mind and body and it is your body’s time to rebalance itself and retune. Good vibes happen on the tides.
