Nairobi – Arrival

All international inbound flights should be booked to arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) in Nairobi, Kenya.

Upon arrival, regardless of your airline or the time, please clear customs and immigration and collect your luggage. Afterward, proceed to the paging area outside the arrivals building, where you will find our Safari/Airport representative holding a pager displaying the DK Grand Safaris logo along with your surname.

Our representative will warmly welcome you and assist with your luggage, then escort you to your vehicle for transfer to your city hotel, where you can check in and settle in comfortably....

Day 5

Ngorongoro Crater

After a delightful breakfast, you will embark on a scenic road transfer to the Kenya/Tanzania border at Namanga Town. Once you’ve cleared immigration and customs, you’ll continue your journey to Arusha Town, Tanzania, where a delicious lunch awaits you at a local city restaurant.

After lunch, you will travel by road to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater Conservancy for almost another two hours. Established in 1959, this remarkable area serves as a multiple-use zone, where vibrant wildlife coexists alongside semi-nomadic Maasai communities. Serengeti National Park

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, check out and embark on your journey to Serengeti National Park. You’ll experience a scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, taking in breathtaking views as you pass vibrant Maasai villages. Here, you can observe the locals grazing their cattle on the slopes of the Ngorongoro escarpment. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for wildlife, with opportunities for game viewing until reaching Naabi Hills. Early morning breakfast will be served at the lodge; thereafter you will be transferred by road to the Kenya/Tanzania boundary (Isibania town) with a picnic lunch. You will be assisted to clear with customs and Immigration, and then proceed again by road to the famous Masai Mara Game Reserve, covering an area of 1,510 square km (583 square miles), the Masai Mara National Reserve is considered a “must-see” by almost all visitors going on safari because the park is graced by a wide variety of unique and exquisite wildlife and birds with over 95 species of mammals and more than 400 different bird species. Depart

After breakfast, you will check out and transfer to the Mara airstrip for your scheduled flight to Wilson Airport (NBO). Upon arrival, our dedicated concierge team will be there to warmly welcome you and assist with your arrangements for lunch at a city restaurant or hotel.
