Nairobi Day Tour
Breakfast will be served at the city hotel, thereafter a pre-safari briefing will be done by our concierge or your Tour leader taking you through the highlights of your adventure ahead. Thereafter, you will proceed to Giraffe Centre located in Karen Area next to Giraffe Manor Hotel. It was founded in 1979 by the late Jock Leslie- Melville, a Kenyan citizen of British descent, and his wife the late Betty Leslie Melville an American citizen. At the time of inception, there were only 130 Rothschild giraffes in the wild. With the help of the breeding at the Giraffe Center, the population today is around 500. You will have an opportunity to hand-feed the Giraffes with pellets provided at the center.
